How to join Wellpoint
Apply for benefits
You can apply for benefits at any time. Enrollment is year-round.
Visit the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) website to check your eligibility and apply for benefits online.
After you are approved for benefits, you’ll be assigned to a health plan. You can choose a different health plan using one of the ways listed below.
Change your plan to Wellpoint
You can change your health plan in one of these ways:
