Wellpoint in action

Youth empowerment

We are partnering with United Way of Northern Arizona to convert a retail space in Holbrook into a teen center focused on youth empowerment and career development where they receive the resources, tools, and support they need to thrive as adults.

Maternal child health supports

Our collaboration with Casa de los Niños will expand their ability to offer in-home lactation support to more new mothers so that babies receive the full nutritional and health benefits that breast milk provides.

Workforce development

Through our partnership with the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials, 28 people across Arizona completed training and are certified referees. This expanded workforce helps address community referee shortages and promotes opportunities for youth physical activity and mentoring by referees.
